RADIO NETS IN THE RICHMOND AREA

By Edie Alderette-Sellers

Nets are a radio-enthusiast term for on-air networking.

At a specific time and day, participants all turn on their radios and the organizer puts out a call for anyone listening to "check in" with their ID and location.

This is how users find out how far their signals travel and nearby radio friends they might call on in an emergency.

This list is by no means comprehensive. There's hundreds of nets going on all around the Bay Area at any time, using many different radio bands.

If you know of a net in the Richmond area that's not on this list, contact us and let us know.
